Transitional Housing

The Transitional Housing Program is a youth development program to help you move forward on important life goals like housing, education, employment, parenting, and more.  We offer case management services and some rental assistance for youth ages 16-24.  This assistance can be offered for 6 months to 1 year on average (depending on the grant.)

You may be eligible if you are:

  • Homeless – have nowhere to go, sleeping in your car, a tent, an abandoned building
  • At-risk of homelessness
  • Overcrowded
  • Do not have a regular place to stay at night
  • Living without water/electricity
  • Fleeing violence at home or with your partner or unsafe at home

Here's what you'll need to do in the program:

  • Be willing to meet with a Case Manager weekly
  • Write your own goals and work toward them – these can include housing, employment, community service, completing high school, exploring tech school or college, learning to be a parent, learning independent living skills, and more!  Our staff can help you figure out where you want to go and help you with a plan to get there.
